Our USP: Fuelling Business Growth

Anyone who's worked with a marketing agency before will have been asked, 'What's your USP?'. It's a valid question but hard for many businesses to answer. This might be followed up by 'Why was your business set up?' or 'What's unique about your business'.

But have you ever wondered what your agency's USP is? If they're placing so much importance on these questions, it's only fair they can answer them themselves, right?

We think so.

To kickstart our blog, we wanted to answer this very question. What is our USP?

Our USP

Our USP can be summed up as the following:

'We Only Run Campaigns with A Clear Judge of Success.'

But what is 'success'? We define it as having a direct impact on sales. This could be physical sales on an e-commerce site, enquiries from a campaign landing page, data capture through a lead magnet, or increased brand trust (not brand awareness. Awareness doesn't mean your customer buys. Trust makes people buy).

For businesses to be successful, they need a consistent, repeatable way of generating sales. And marketing is the method of feeding a company those sales. This is the core principle we created our agency on. It’s our ‘Why’. To fuel business growth through marketing.

Embracing this philosophy sits at the heart of everything we do. Recognising marketing is not a promotional tool but the catalyst that ignites sales, fuels business expansion, and orchestrates an enduring revenue generation cycle.

With this in mind, we've built an ethos that every campaign, strategy, and activity must be tied to the tangible outcomes our clients want to see.

Marketing as an Investment, Not an Expense

John Wanamaker famously said, 'Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is I don't know which half.' This is a sentiment many businesses share. They know marketing is needed but feel much of it could be better spent. They see marketing as an expense or a risk they must partake in because everyone else is, and besides, what else can they do?

But what if this wasn't the case? What if you only ran campaigns where you could clearly judge if success had been achieved? And what if success was not simply a 'yes' or 'no' answer but a sliding scale? Wouldn't that change your marketing efforts from an expense to an investment?

This is what we aim to achieve with our strategies. That doesn't mean every campaign is a success. It does mean we can quickly say what does and doesn’t work, though. And it also means we get to see what works vs. what really, really works.
