Director Ketan Mistry had planned the move since 2012, and once our Manchester office was running successfully, it was time to take the brand and its values to a new market. We made the move as part of developing an ‘always on’ 24/7 support model, able to monitor and diagnose client operations whilst others still slept, as well as servicing its international clients.

Project Octo was founded three years ago and opening our next office in Melbourne, Australia is the first step in developing a globally recognised brand.

“The decision to relocate to Oz is something that fits with Project Octo’s long-term expansion plans, which have always been to become a globally recognisable name,” Mistry said. “We’ve got a big job ahead of us, but I’m really excited to be putting a British flag in the ground in Melbourne, as I think we’re one of very few UK digital agencies to open an office there.”

We specialise in digital marketing and ecommerce projects, the key to this being the development of an ecommerce software platform Shopit, which we will be making available to retailers, developers and agencies over coming months via

If you are also expanding internationally – or want to research the possibilities of doing so – our Export service can help. We offer extensive Market Analysis reports, legal and structural guidance, and can help you understand the huge opportunities of taking your business abroad.
